Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally launched in India; prices start at Rs 29.72 lakh
Italian marque Ducati has launched the new Multistrada V4 Rally in India. The off-road-centric motorcycle is available in two paint jobs, namely Ducati Red and Brush Aluminium Matte Black, priced at Rs 29,72,000 (ex-showroom) and Rs 30,02,000 (ex-showroom), respectively. The Rally version of the popular Multistrada moniker brings a new riding mode, a larger fuel tank, and more suspension travel.
New Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally: Highlights
Unveiled in late 2022, the Rally version brings long distance touring capability to the Multistrada V4. For this, it gets a larger 30 litres fuel tank. Ducati has even lengthened its tail section and re-positioned pannier mounting points to offer more space for the pillion. There are also tubeless tyres shod in spoke wheels as standard. For the added comfort and reduced vibrations, the foot pegs feature thicker rubber. Further, the Multistrada V4 Rally comes with a centre stand and a taller windscreen.
The travel for electronic suspension now stands at 200mm at the front and rear, which has gone up from 170mm and 180mm, respectively. It also lowers the ride height as the motorcycle comes to a halt.

Ducati has equipped the Multistrada V4 Rally with easy lift function, front and rear radar system that offer Blind Spot Detection (BSD) and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), cornering ABS, wheelie control, cornering lamps, traction control, a 6.5-inch colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and Ducati Connect, vehicle hold control, ride and power modes, fully electronic and adjustable front USD forks and a rear monoshock, 330mm dual front disc with Brembo Stylema callipers, and a 265mm single rear disc. Meanwhile, the seat height of the Multistrada V4 Rally is adjustable between 870 and 890mm, while its kerb weight stands at 260kg.
New Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally: Powertrain
The Rally version of the Multistrada V4 comes powered by a 1,158cc, liquid-cooled V4 Granturismo engine producing 170PS at 10,500rpm and 121Nm of torque at 8,750rpm. This mill is married to a six-speed gearbox, featuring bi-directional quick-shifter. Notably, it features cylinder deactivation technology that shuts off two cylinders and claims to offer more fuel efficiency.
