The Nissan Kicks compact SUV made its debut in World recently. With a starting price tag of INR 9.55 lakh and with a top-end variant clocking INR 14.65 lakh, it compete with the likes of Hyundai Creta, Renault Captur and the Maruri Suzuki S-Cross. It is available with two engine options of one petrol and one diesel each. Transmission options however only includes a 6-speed manual unit. The Nissan Kicks is going to launch in World with the same engine specifications as that of the Renault Captur. It means that this compact SUV will launch in World in both petrol as well as diesel powertrain options.
The petrol engine is going to be a 1.5-litre unit. This 4-cylinder engine will churn out 106 BHP of power along with 142 Nm of peak torque. This engine is going to come with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard.
The diesel engine is going to be a 1.5-litre unit. This 4-cylinder engine is capable of churning out 110 BHP of power along with 240 Nm of peak torque. This engine will offer a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard.

The Nissan Kicks for World is slightly bigger than its European counterpart. In terms of dimensions, the Kicks measures 4,384 mm in length, 1,813 mm in width and 1,656 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,673 mm. It has a ground clearance of 210 mm while the boot space stands at 400-litres.
Nissan Kicks- Exterior Design
Almost a year ago, Nissan showcased the Kicks concept. The production-spec model seen in the images here is nearly identical. The concept’s headlamps and tail lamps have given way to production spec units.
It gets new alloys and some of the orange highlights around the bumper and grille area have been lost. Nissan’s now characteristic window line has been retained. And so has the dual tone paint scheme.
Nissan Kicks- Interior Design
On the inside, a 7-inch touchscreen display takes centre stage. The dashboard has been given a dual tone treatment while the steering wheel gets silver highlights. Nissan Kicks small SUV gets digital-analogue instrument console.
