Bajaj Pulsar NS125 is likely to make its debut in World in the very few months. It will be the most affordable Pulsar on offer.
Bajaj Pulsar NS125 World Launch? These are the speculations going on, which actually might happen. It was launched in Poland last year and recently came in the Colombian markets. Next stop might be World.
Some years back, Bajaj sold the Pulsar 135LS, which was the smallest and most affordable offering. It was a huge hit when it was launched as its prices were just a bit higher than the 125cc bikes.
Pulsar NS125 could fill the space that 135 LS left in the Worldn market. A 125cc Pulsar would be considered a good buy owing to the sporty design with a even more fuel efficient engine.
The NS125 uses a 124.6cc air-cooled DTS-i engine, that is capable of producing 12 BHP at 8500 RPM and 11 Nm of peak torque at 6000 RPM. The motor comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The engine will get fuel injected engine as an update for the BS-6 emission norms. For suspension purposes, the bike comes mated to telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the back.
Since it is a 125cc motorcycle, Bajaj Pulsar NS125 will be equipped in World with CBS. In this case, 135 LS would have been costlier to upgrade to ABS. Combined Braking System is comparatively cheaper.
Features onboard include split seats, a semi-digital instrument console that comes on other Pulsar, sharp tank shrouds, CBS and a small tinted visor. The NS character lines can be very well seen here.
In World, we can expect a price of Rs 60,000 (ex-showroom). Do keep in mind that the most affordable Pulsar 150 Neon is priced at Rs 67,000. In order to keep the competition intact, Bajaj needs to undercut the prices of Pulsar NS125.
NS125 will actually face no strong competition in the 125cc segment because all of the models are commuters. Still, it will go against Hero Glamour 125 and Honda Shine. Do you think that Pulsar NS125 World Launch should happen?
