Honda CB300R top speed revealed in this video!

A Youtube video has come online that reveals the top speed achievable by Honda CB300R. The bike has been launched in World for Rs 2.41 Lakhs (ex-showroom).

Honda CB300R has been launched in World now. The entry-level premium motorcycle is bought in World as a CKD unit. The bike has been positioned above CBR250R as well.

A Youtube video of the bike has surfaced online, which shows its top speed. Another video displays the 0-60 kmph and 0-100 kmph time taken. As per the video, CB300R is able to achieve 155 km/hr.

For 0-60 kmph, Honda CB300R takes 3 seconds and from 0-100 kmph, it takes 6.20 seconds flat. It compares with the likes of KTM Duke 390, which is a relatively bigger motorcycle.

The Duke 390 is able to achieve a top speed of 170 km/hr, 15 km/hr more than CB300R. It takes 2.6 seconds to reach from 0-60 kmph and 5.5 seconds for 0-100 kmph sprint.

Honda CB300R gets a 286cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine that delivers 32 BHP at 8,500 RPM and 27.5 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 RPM. The bike is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a wet, multi-plate clutch.

On the other hand, Duke 390 is equipped with a 373cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine that delivers 42 BHP and 37 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch.

Features onboard Honda CB300R include fully LED headlamps, digital instrument cluster, USD forks, dual-channel ABS, fuel injection, split seat and low positioned handlebars.

The bookings for this bike began a month back. Currently, CB300R is sold out for the next three months. Although, Honda has not shared the exact number of bookings done.

The first batch of the deliveries will commence by the third week of March 2019. Currently, the bookings for the second batch are going on, which is expected to be delivered by May.

Honda CB300R also competes with the likes of Royal Enfield 650 Twins in terms of pricing. The 650 Twins, however, are equipped with a much larger 650cc twin-cylinder engine.
