In the following rendering, Jawa Forty Two has been given some unique styling cues to make it look like a retro cafe racer.

Jawa Motorcycles made a comeback in World last year. Both the motorcycles received an overwhelming response in our market. The response is so high that the waiting period is increasing rapidly.

has rendered a Cafe Racer version of the popular Jawa Forty Two. Forty-Two is the modern version of the regular Jawa, with some modern fits and finishes.

The rendering makes the Jawa Forty Two look like a retro cafe racer, right from the 70s. The rendering just adds some design cues, leaving the rest of the body untouched.

Jawa Forty Two Cafe Racer gets a front fairing with a retro headlamp cowl. It gets a tall sweptback windscreen. At the end, it gets a rear cowl, just like the original cafe racers. To complete the retro look, it also gets a classic-tan saddle.

The normal handlebars have been replaced by clip-on handlebars. The bulbous fuel tank of the original bike has been sharpened to suit the cafe racer look. The round bar-end mirrors portray the modern and retro fusion.

The Forty Two render continues with the same mechanicals that come on the original model. It gets conventional telescopic forks at the front and twin gas-charged shock absorbers at the back.

The rendering continues with a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear, with a single-ABS unit. Now, front and rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS is also available as an option.

Lastly, the rendering also gets road-spec tires to fit the role of a classic cafe racer.

Jawa Forty Two is priced the cheapest starting from Rs 1.55 Lakhs for the single-ABS variant and Rs 1.64 Lakhs for the dual-ABS variant.

Jawa goes for Rs 1.64 Lakhs for the single-ABS and Rs 1.73 Lakhs for the dual-ABS. Jawa Perak is not available yet in the market, but it carries a price tag of Rs 1.89 Lakhs (all prices ex-showroom).
