  1. World is producing tall children, so tall boy cars are essential,Maruti Wagon R needs to be upgraded with a 1200 CC petrol engine, slightly wider body and wider tyres, more particularly in view of phasing out the Maruti Ritz another tall boy car

  2. CC should be increased, front seat, back seat hand rest and touchscreen should introduce, wider body and boot space should be increased. its boot space is very poor.

  3. Thigh support is small in current wagon R model.
This is very uncomfortable as the Northern Worldns are comparitively taller ( 5ft 8inch ) & the passenger keeps Sliding to front while sitting in a running car.
This problem must be rectified as long distance traveling in the car is very uncomfortable.

  4. Dear carblog, I own a 15 year old 2003 wagon r which has four cylinder 1100 cc engine which out performs present 2017 three pot cart in all respect. Therefore Suzuki should be wise in launching new wagon r with large heart. Otherwise it will be a futile exercise where indians are altogether different breed will reject in total. Regards Calnoor

  5. The width to height ratio defines the CG of the car and same is not proportionate in case of wagon R, coupled with lifeless light steering and punny tyres it gives this car a immense amount of body roll. I own a wagon r and I changed the tyres to thicker ones it has reduced a bit a body roll and improved handling but not satisfactory. I felt Ritz being same tall.boy design fares much much better than wagon R on twisty roads and has great driveabiltly on highways. The reason being Ritz it much wider and has bigger tyres than wagon R. So new WagonR needs to add some.more muscle to make it wider. 165mmr14 tyres should come standard. Less costly cars like datsun redigo easily out perform wagonRs in cornering manners. Which cost half the price of wagon R. So why can’t maruti increase the width of this car. Atleast 1550 mm width is needed to make it a better car. No complaints With engine though I loved this engine a lot. My waggie has run 1.20 lakh and belive me it’s engine is highly refined and power delivery is smooth but without AC. Love the turbo like pickup in 3 4 gear. But with ac on and 4 passengers it begs for one more cylinder. 1.2 litre 4cylinder engine will most welcome change

  6. Yes i m waiting for this new wagno r from long time…. i have to change my old wagno r by this new one….. plz launch it soon

  7. AMT IS JERKY AND NOT SUITABLE FOR CITY DRIVE.
CVT IS A BETTER OPTION . MARUTI TO CONSIDER INTRODUCING CVT OPTION AT LEAST IN THE TOP MODEL

  8. Will they sell by this year 2018? And if so what would be the price for new wagon r vxi 2018? Am going to buy a wagon r vxi ,But it doesnt have safety features as expected with this price range (5lakh)
