The Renault Triber is going to launch in World during the second half of 2019. Prices are expected to fall in-between INR 6 lakh to INR 9 Lakh.
After a considerable gap, Renault World is going to launch an all-new product in the Worldn market. Making its debut during the second half of 2019, this addition to the French automaker’s portfolio is based on the modified platform of the Kwid hatchback. To be called as the ‘Triber’, it is expected to pitch against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
Going by the numerous spy shots of this vehicle floating on the internet, it becomes clear that this vehicle will have compact dimensions. And hence, is likely to find its place in-between the Kwid and the Duster in Renault portfolio.
Since the vehicle snapped in the spy shots is under heavy camouflage, we cannot comment on its minute design details. However, a recent set to design sketches of the vehicle, does give us a slight insight into what this compact MPV is going to look like.
The front fascia of the Triber bears a typical Renault design. It is going to get large-wraparound headlamps, a big chrome grill, chunky bumper with all of this integrated into a streamlined layout. The rear of the vehicle will follow a similar layout. However, it seems that inspiration has been taken from the Renault Lodgy when it comes to its tail-lights.
Details regarding the interiors of this vehicle are still scarce. It could get a typical European design with circular layout, something which we see on the Captur. One this is for sure, that it will be loaded quite extensively with equipment, especially the top-spec iterations.
Features such as LED daytime running lamps, projector headlamps, a touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple Car Play, automatic climate control, electrically operated wind-mirrors are likely to make an appearance.
In terms of safety, as standard, this vehicle will get dual airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, driver and passenger seat belt warning, high-speed slert system along with seats belts with pre-tensioners. Tops-spec trim might even come with up to 6-airbags.
The Renault Triber is going to get a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine under its hood. This is the same unit which does its duty on the Renault Kwid. However,
