Toyota Fortuner & Innova BS6 To Receive A Price Hike By Up To Rs 5 Lakh

Both the Fortuner and Innova are the best selling in their respective segment. With 10-12% sales dip, Toyota still hopes to increase the sales once the BS4 models get cleared out from the stock.

Toyota Kirloskar Motors urges the fleet operators and shared mobility partners to buy the Fortuner and Innova before the BS6 norms kick in as both the products will receive a massive price hike.

With the upcoming BS6 emission norms, both Toyota vehicles can expect a price hike by up to 15-20% which equals to Rs 5 lakh for Fortuner and Rs 3 lakh for Innova. Since diesel engines involve more technology to convert the particulate to BS6 form, the company urges to fleet operators for advanced purchases.

Toyota Fortuner will get expensive by Rs 5 lakh

The new prices will kick in once the BS6 emission norms are out. Also, Toyota believes that if the advanced purchases for BSIV models are done then it will beat the declining sales happening in the last few months.
