Upcoming Hyundai Creta Facelift: 5 things to expect
Hyundai has teased the exterior and interior of the soon-to-come Creta facelift, ahead of its formal introduction and launch on January 16. The car will come with a host of upgrades to keep up with the competitive aspects of the mid-size SUV space. Customers can pre-book the new Creta at any Hyundai dealership in India or on the Hyundai Motors India website. Let's take a look at 5 major updates that are expected for the upcoming Hyundai Creta.
Hyundai Creta Facelift: Exterior
With a revised grille, headlight, and bumper assembly, the Creta will have a more boxy appearance. The DRLs are well incorporated into the grille and the headlamps are now rectangular and well integrated into the bumper. The rear receives a fully redesigned tailgate, full-width LED taillamps that mirror the front-end design, and a more aggressive bumper. This design is only for the Indian spec car as the global model is very different.
Hyundai Creta Facelift: Interior
The interior seems just as updated as the exterior. The dashboard is completely redesigned, with dual 10.25-inch linked displays. The centre console now has revised air conditioning vents, a single band of physical buttons, ambient lighting, a dual-tone interior theme, a four-spoke steering wheel and what seems to be a touch display for HVAC settings.
Hyundai Creta Facelift: Variants and Colours
The 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift is available in seven different trim levels: E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, and SX (O). You may configure it with one of three powertrains and four transmissions. Robust Emerald Pearl, Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, and Titan Grey are among the monotone colours. The dual-tone model, on the other hand, comes in Atlas White with a black roof.
Hyundai Creta Facelift: Powertrains
The Creta facelift will also be offered with three powertrains and a choice of four transmission options. The 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that we see on the Verna will also make its way in the new Creta. The unit produces 160PS and 253Nm. The other engines included the 1.5-litre petrol producing 115PS/144Nm of torque and the 1.5-litre diesel putting out 116PS/250Nm of torque. A six-speed manual, six-speed iVT, six-speed automatic, and a seven-speed DCT gearbox will handle transmission duties.
Hyundai Creta Facelift: ADAS
The most significant upgrade to the equipment list will be Level 2 ADAS, which will include active safety features like automated emergency braking, a 360-degree camera, lane-keeping assist, lane change warning, and more. Expect these features only on the top-spec variants though.
