Maruti Suzuki Brezza emerges as the most successful SUV of 2023

With nearly 1.70 lakh units sold in 2023, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza became India's best-selling SUV. The Brezza outperformed the Tata Nexon, Tata Punch, Hyundai Creta, Hyundai Venue, and Kia Seltos to take the top rank. The Brezza's cheap cost, which begins at Rs 8.29 lakh (ex-showroom), has been critical in drawing buyers and retaining its top-selling status.

The pricing of the Brezza ranges from Rs 8.29 lakh and Rs 14.14 lakh (ex-showroom). However, Maruti has already announced a price increase across its whole product line in January 2024. Since its introduction as the first-generation Vitara Brezza in 2016, the brand's combined sales of the Brezza and Vitara Brezza have surpassed 10 lakh units in India.

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza comes in four trim levels: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi (O), as well as six colour options: Pearl Arctic White, Splendid Silver, Magma Grey, Sizzling Red, Brave Khakhi, and Exuberant Blue.

Powering the Brezza is a 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that delivers 100.6PS and 136Nm of torque. Whereas, the same motor produces 87.8PS and 121.5Nm of torque in the CNG mode. Transmission options include a five-speed manual and a six-speed automatic unit.

The brand has bestowed the Brezza with numerous features, such as LED projector headlamps, follow me home and lead me to vehicle headlight functions, a heads-up display, a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system, hill hold assist, an electronic stability program, six airbags, an electric sunroof, wireless charging, Type-C ports, cooled glovebox, cruise control, and Suzuki Connect.
